Miss Linda Smith, es maid of
honour; Miss Janice Abbott,
sister of the bride and Miss
Brenda Turner, sister of the
groom, as bridesmaids, wore
identical dresses of red velvet,
Empire style, with white lace at
the bodice and red velvet bows
as headpieces,
Miss -Gayle Turner, n:ece of
the groom, as flower girl, wore a
white velvet Empire style dress
with red velvet trim at the
bodice and a white velvet bow as
headpiece. The velvet for the
dresses was imported by Du
Balle of France.
Each attendant carried a
white pearl basket of white
carnations to match the bride's.
The best man was William
Turner, brother of the groom,
and the ushers were Gerald
Rathwell and Edgar Willed, both
brothers-in-law of the groom.
Music was provided by Mrs.
0. W. Sach at the organ and a
soloist, Miss Wendy Elston of
Centralia.
At the reception held at the
Lucan Community Centre, the
mother of the bride received her
guests in a three-piece peacock
blue wool suit with matching
hat, black accessories and a
corsage of white carnations. She
was assisted by the groom's
mother who wore an off-white
metallic brocade two-piece suit,
black hat and accessories and
corsage of rose-coloured
carnations.

enjoyed a Christmas party and
on December 20 they sang carols
at the Clinton Public Hospital.
