Jim Francis, who could not be present, is also' acting as a firearms instructor in the new "Scout 68" programme. This 'new programme is slanted towards the needs of "Today" and utilizes the assistance of local craftsman to demonstrate their ' knowledge to the boys. While still reconizing the value of "Knot tying" the New Programme endeavours to respond to 1968 technology.
