Colts suffer
without. ice.
The -lack of home ice Is,
responsible for a lack of
interest, says Clinton Colts
coach Bud •Schoenhals, who was
Able to send only eight players
against Shelburne in the season's
first contest last week, _ -
Nor surnrisingiy, Clinton lost
the away game 10-2, with scores.
for ,Clinton by Fred Parsons pad
Harvey Dale,
"It can't get any worse," Mr.
Schoenhals remarked Tuesday as
the Colts were about to leave for
another away game, that one at
Flora, Results of the encounter
have not been received yet.
"It is g real bloody mess," the,
coach went on; "we just can't
get the guys out."
Mr. Schoenhals said the Colts
have practiced occasionally, but
not nearly enough, at the CFB
Clinton rink, so he has no
apology for the team's first score
and says rather, "I don't know
how the boys done it." -Clinton's
"team," he noted, had six
forwards and two defensemen in
the game against Elora.'
4, home game with ' Elora,
slated for this evening, will be
rescheduled, probably in
January. Last week's Shelburne
game was to be at home, but the
schedule was switched around
and Clinton now must fit in
another game here later in the
season.
An away game is set for
Kincardine Sunday and a' home
game against the same
competitors is on next
Thursday's agenda.

I
FIT FOR EMERGENCIES
A person who is physically fit
is likely to respond more
effectively to emergency
situations that he encounters in
everyday life. In ordinary
circumstances, as well, he likely
is more productive and can work
for greater periods of time
without undue fatigue, says the
federal health department
publication, "Get fit — Keep
fit,"
To The Electors of
Tuckersmith, Seaforth,
Bayfield and Stanley
Having been nominated as trustee to the new
Huron County Board of Education, I solicit your
support at the polls on December 2.
As one long interested in education, and as a
member of the Oforth District High School
Board since 1963; I feel my experience can be of
assistance in dealing with the problems that will
face the new Board,
John
Broadfoot
CLINTON — HULLETT — BLYTH -- MeKILLOP
Experience:-
-All levels of education up to and including
university.
—4 years with Ontario Department of Agriculture and
Food in Clinton. During this period I met many people in
the area to be represented and gained considerable
knowledge of the County,
—4 years with McKillop Township School Area Board,
which included the establishment of the area.
—9 years operating our own farm and seed grain
business.
I believe the Old Boards have done a good job in
preparing for the County Board and that few if any changes
should be made before the end of the school year.
If elected 1 will do my best to work With the other
member to represent the area.
Everyone in this area has two votes for< the board of
education. I hope to be worthy of one of them.
