The treaPrerr, Mrs, Lorna Merner, was authorized to purchase additional kitchen stainless steelware and vegetable bowls. Plans were finalized for the annual Christmas Bazaar, bake. WO and tea, which will be held in the parish hall at the end of this month. The secretary, Mrs. L. Scotehmer, to be in charge of advertising the event. It was decided to hold the next meeting on November 29 at the parish hall, when the members will make preparations for the bazaar. The meeting was ,cloSed with Prayer by everend E. Lorna Ellis opened the meeting by reading a poem on the housewife followed by the Creed and the Lord's Prayer. Thank-you notes were read from Janice and Joe Eveleigh and the family of the late Violet. Watkins. , The program consisted of a purse contest conducted by Ida Wright which was won by Marianne Colclough. ' Attie Westerhout sent a guessing contest which was conducted by Lorna Ellis. Jean Cummings won the prize. Margaret Wright read a poem called "November Boughs" followed by a Penny Contest which was won by Marianne Colclough. The next meeting is to be December 4 at the home of Barbara Lovett. The roll call is to be the exchange of a Christmas gift. Those on the program are Edith Wright, Ida Wright and Margaret Ball.
