Potato power
Canada's Food Guide
recommends you eat one serving
of potatoes daily. Do you know
why?
It is because potatoes are
important contributors to the
day's requirements of vitamin C
and iron, as well as being good
sources of energy,, 'One
medium-sized potato, if.properly
cooked, will supply nearly half
of the daily requirement of
vitamin C.
Potatoes also retain a high
percentage of minerals and
vitamins when boiled or baked
in their skins.

BALL & MUTCH
71 ALBERT' ST. 4 505
A capacity crowd- of about
500 watched the antics of the
Harlem Diplomats, a basketball
comedy team, at Central Huron
Secondary School's gym last
Saturday night.
• S ponsored by the CHSS
Athletic Association, the event
was -a sell-out and last-minute
ticket-buyers were almost turned
'away.
A mixture of comedy and
skillful basketball, the
Diplomats' routine still showed
some rough spots, probably
because they only started their
season's schedule last week.'
One unintended bit of humor
was added by a faulty - circuit,
breaker which repeatedly doused
the lights in half the gym.
