Miss Florence McNeil of London, soloist, sang "How Great Thou Art" and "O Perfect Love" accompanied at the organ console by Mrs. John Turkheim, Ferrucio Zattra, London, was groomsman; Brian Smillie, brother of the bride, and Erik Christen of Oakville were ushers. A reception dinner at the church followed the ceremony. For travelling to Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania, and New York State, the bride changed to an Aqua Helen Howell original matching coat and dress ensemble with a white rosebud and stephonatis corsage. Upon their return they will reside in 'London where Mr. Pedersen is employed at Ford Motor Company at Talbotville and the bride is on the pediatric staff of St. Joseph's hospital, London. PRE-NUPTIAL SHOWERS A surprise miscellaneous shower was held in Carolyn's honour at the home of Mrs.' William Benson, London, when nursing associates were in attendance. A delicious buffet dinner and miscellaneous shower was held at the home of Miss Margaret Elgie, Kippen, when relatives and school friends were guests. Miss Sharon McBride along with. Mrs. McBride and Mrs. Elgie assisted with the arrangements, for theilellifieful e'v'ening. A miscellaneous shower was held on August 27 in the Hensall United Church arranged by a group of friends and neighbours in Carolyn's honour. The beautifully decorated room was centred by a large "Good Luck Horse-shoe" and a program of musical numbers, readings and contests was enjoyed by everyone. Standards of white •carnations and red and pink roses decorated St. Andrew's United Church, Port Moody, British Coltimbia on August 31, 1968 for the wedding of Susan Alanna Guise and Larry George. Reid of Vancouver, B.C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Allan Guise of Prince George, B.C. and the groom is the son of Master Warrant Officer and Mrs. William A. Reid of CFB Borden, Ontario. Rev. Knipe officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor-length gown of Logoda crepe „S,.. a withan . empire wais e. detachable full-length train fell from the shoulders in graceful folds. Her fingertip veil of layered tulle was held in place by tiny lace wedding bells and she carried a cascade bouquet of red sweetheart roses and white baby mums, with satin streamers of red rose buds. Maid of honour was the bride's only sister, Miss 'Penny Guise. She wore a sheath floor-length gown of deep rose chiffon and carried a cascade bouquet of white baby mums and tea roses. She wore rose buds in her hair. Groomsman was Roger Balaski, of Prince George, B.C. and the guests were ushered by Raymond Grindon, cousin ' of the groom. Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Leon Motor Hotel in Port Moody, B.C. where the groom's mother received the guests wearing a mint green sheath dress with lace coat and white accessories and a corsage of tea roses. For a wedding'tit') 'td' the U.S.A. the bride changed into .a two-piece suit of off-white with black patent purse and shoes and a corsage of Talisman roses. Upon their return they wiu reside on 4th Avenue, Vancouver B.C. Guests attended from Seattle, Washington, Richmond, North Surrey, White Rock, New West Minister, Port Moody and. Prince George, B.C.
