The Reverend Grant Mills performed the double-ring ceremony on September 14, 1968, at 3 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wright of Clinton and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Warwick Eveleigh of London. Given in marriage by her father the • bride wore a floor-length gown of peau de faille. The bodice of the princess line gown was trimmed with wide guipure, lace and the back featured 'a 'square collar with guipure lace trim and tiny buttons to- waist, A sweeping train froni .. the collar was also edged with Wide' guipure lace. She carried red sweetheart, roses showered. with trailing ivy laced oil a white Bible. Mrs, Arnold Riley, sister of the bride,' is maid of honour and bridesmaids, Mrs. „ Don McGregor, sister of the bride and Miss Joan Eveleigh, sister of the groom, were gowned alike in countess blue swiss lace over taffeta: Their gowns had empire bodices and A-line skirts with bell-shaped lace sleeves. They carried white shasta Mums with ivy: Two flower girls, Sandra MCGregor, niece of the bride, and Karen McKay, niece of the groOm, wore gowns of countess Clinton and Betty •Jean Cook, London were gowned identical to that of the maid of hOlactor. PRE-NUPTIAL EVENTS The bride was guest of honour at miscellaneous showers given, by Mrs. Hilbert Schillbe and Dorreen Tiernan; Mrs. Barbara Darrell; Mrs. Keith Kaetsicr; Mrs. M. Clark and Mrs. Agnes Dale; kitchen shower, Mrs. Bruce Bartliff. Mrs. E. Bartliff entertained at a trousseau tea for her daughter. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. W. 0. Johnston, Mrs. H. liartliff,, grandmother of the bride; and Mrs. A. Tiemon, aunt ..,of the bride. Rev, R. The bride, given in marriage iv her father, wore a traditional floor length gown of chantilly lace with a crepe front panel, and cathedral train. She carried Yellow roses, stephanotis and ivy. Maid of honour, JoAnn Bates, sister .of the bride, was gowned in a floor length empire gown in maize, with maize cap and floor length veil. Her flowers were shasta daisies and ivy. Mary Louise Allen, Hawkesburyi Ontario, cousin of the bride, as flower girl was dressed identical to the maid of honour, and carried shasta' daisies and yellow roses. Carl Richardson, Brucefield, was groomsman; and E. Lloyd Earl, and Lloyd Earl, Winnipeg, Manitoba were ushers. A reception was held at the Little Inn, Bayfield, where Mrs. Bates received her guests wearing a pink dress and hat, with will reside at RR 5, Stratford, The bride-to-he was honoured at showers given by Mrs.. Madelon Yeats and daughter, Mrs. Gwen Johnston; Mrs. M. Frahm and. Mrs, , Lloyd Rutherford. blue taffeta in the same style with Swiss lace trim and bow at the back. They carried white shasta mums centered with a red rosebud to 'match the bride's bouquet. The bridal attendants all wore headpieces of matching fabric roses. The groom was attended by his brother, Barry Eveleigh, and ushers were Garnet Wright, Londesboro, brother of the bride and Jack McKay, of London, brother-in-law of the groom. Barbara and Bonnie Snell of Londesboro, accompanied by Lois. Grasby at the organ, sang "This is Our Day" and "The Lord's Prayer" during • the ceremony and the "Wedding Prayer" during the signing of the register. The bride's mother wore a *deep rose ensemble of silk shantung with a corsage of stephanotis,— centered • with' a gardenia. The groom's' mother chose a pale pink dress with a pink and white carnation corsage. Both wore feather hats to match their dresses. Following a reception in the church auditorium at which Lloyd Pfaff of London acted as master of ceremonies, the couple left on a wedding trip to Florida and the southern States. The bride chose as her travelling outfit an orange ice wool coat and dress ensemble with hat to match and brown patent accessories, with white carnation corsage. Rev. R. W. Wenham officiated at the double ring ceremony. Bill Craig, Clinton, sang "The ' Lord's Prayer" and "0 Perfect' Love" during the ceremony. The bride given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of white French crepe • sateen. The bodice was highlighted by a stariding portrait collar, wrist length Monk sleeves, an empire waist, and a flowing A-line skirt, which was covered with Alencori lace., A full flowing cage • train cascaded from the back shoulders to a cathedral length. To complete her •bridal, outfit the bride wore a French pure silk illusion fingertip veil caught up by an exquisite headpiece of Swiss Guipure lace and shimmering aurora borealis crystals. She carried a lace Stratford, Guelph, Mitchell, Goderich, London, Scarborough, Woodstock, Galt, Tillsonburg and the surrounding community. PRE-NUPTIAL EVENTS Previons 'to ' 'the . The Cub Leaders of Dundas Street United Church, London, and the staff of the Bell Telephone each presented the bride with gifts. On their return the young couple will reside on Mornington Avenue, London. handkerchief of her grandmother; and a prayer book crested with a white orchid and streamers of stephonotis. Elizabeth Bartliff, Clinton, as matron of honour wore a gown of green peau de faille with a mint green sheer' coat. Her headpiece was an emerald green bow with extended tails and she carried a Medley cascade of white fugi mums centred with a white candle.
