The Crop Insurance
Commission of Ontario today
announced three important
changes in its Winter Wheat
Insurance Plan.
In addition to the 60, 70 and
80 percent levels of coverage
previously available, farmers
may now insure for 50 percent
of their average farm yield. The
low rates established , for this
latter coverage produce a
premium cost as low as 62 cents
per acre in some areas.
"This lower level of
coverage", said K. E. Lantz,
chairman of the Commission,
"was provided in response to
considerable demand for
Anniversary services in
Londesboro United Church will

the theme for this term of the

Group I held the first and

the next pack meeting. All the
family is welcome - the more the
merrier - all parents are urged to
be represented if this year's
cubbing is going to be really
successful for the boys.
Parents are welcome to come
at 7:00 p.m. with their sons but
it is at 8:15 they should all be
present.
There is still a need for more
leaders; ladies are eligible as well
as gentlemen, and fifty years of
cubbing in a hundred different
countries has shown that for
boys in this age group, 8 to 11, a
team of leaders drawn from both
sexes is the most effective. The
minimum age for an assistant is
18 and the maximum age is,
we'll say, 81.
Parents, particularly' parents
of new cubs, will probably find
the thumb nail talk which will
be given on the aims and basic
method of the movement of
interest, and if they have
relatives or friends interested in
cubbing, particularly interested
in learning to be a cub leader,
they are urged to bring them
too.
