of a best 2 out of 3 series for the
WOAA 'B'' championship. The
game was played in Clinton •last
Thursday night.
Pitcher Steve Amsing held the
visiting Walkerton team to two
hits until the last inning when he
allowed three safeties, The three
hits coupled with two pass balls
allowed four runners to cross the
plate and tie the score 4 - 4.
Clinton had built a 4 to 0
lead with runs in the second,
third, and sixth innings. In the,
seventh, with two men out,
Steve Cook hit a hard drive to
the-Walkerton third baseman who
overthrew first base, allowing
Cook to advance to second.

Langille hit back to ack singles
scoring Cook for the wig
winning run.
• Don MacDonald stole home
for Clinton's first run in the
second inning. In the third, Mike
Anstett and Colquhoun hit
singles and scored on Langille's
hit into left field, In the sixth
inning, John Vanloo's perfect
bunt scored Langille who had a
lead off single in the inning.
