ceremony.
Miss Cathy Potter presided at
the organ and accompanied
soloist Seamus Doherty.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, looked lovely in a
floor-length gown of bouffant
organza, featuring a lace bodice,
panels in the skirt, and lily point
sleeves. A shoulder length veil
was held by a cap of pearl
centred daisies. The bride carried
a white Bible showered with
mauve carnations.
Matron of honour, Mrs. Roy
Leduc, of Clinton, was attractive
in floor-length gown of aqua
ottoman, featuring an empire,
waistline„ bell sleeves, and an-

a bouquet of white mums and
mauve carnations.
Roy Leduc, Clinton, was
groomsman and guests were
ushered by Lindsay Harvie, arid
Howard Tait both of Clinton.
A reception was held in the
Parish Hall of St. Paul's Anglican
Church where the bride's mother
received guests in a turquoise
crepe dress with matching coat,
white, accessories and a pink
corsage.
The happy couple left on a
trip to Northern Ontario, the
bride travelling in a three piece
green knit suit with light brown
accessories and' a pink corsage.
The couple will reside in
Sudbury.
Out of tOwn guests were
present from Stratford and
Toronto.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honoured b'y several
showers, Mrs. R, Leduc, Mrs. H.
Tait, Mrs. 3. Daer, and Mrs. S.
Doherty held a shower June 26
for the bride. A lingerie shower
was held by Mrs. Ken Lane, of
London A shower July 29 was
given by Huronview.

At the double ring ceremony,
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a floor
length sheath styled gown of
Lagoda crepe with a scoop
neckline and empire. waist. A
cape effect bodice was edged in
delicate Chantilly lace. The
detachable chapel length train
fell in graceful folds from the
waist back and was accented
with tiny bows. Her, tiered
headpiece was held by four
rosette buds, centred by silver
stems and surrounded by satin
leaves. She carried a bouquet of
white roses, centred by a white
orchid. •
Matron 'of honour was the
bride's sister, Mrs, Harold
Parson, Staffa. Bridesmaids
included Mrs. Harold Roberts,
Listowel, sister of the groom and
Mrs. Arnold Campbell, Seaforth,
sister of the bride.
They wore similar empire
styled, sleeveless, floor length
gowns of cut velvet leaf design
on crystalette over taffeta with
square necklines in shades of
green, blue and coral. White
elbow length gloves and white
Swiss eyelet bow headdresses
completed their ensemble. They
carried white Bibles adorned by
white gladiola-orchids.
Flower were Shelly
Lynn Workman, Calgary,
Alberta, niece of the bride and
Lorrie Mann, Clinton, niece of
the groom. They wore short
empire styled dresses of
crystalette cut leaf velvet over
green taffeta, featuring square
necklines and a gathered bodice
with wrist length white gloves.
They carried baskets of white
flowers centred by miniature
dolls dressed identically to the
flower girls,

brother of the groom, was best
man. Ushers included Harold
Roberts„ Listowel,
borther-in-law of the groom and
Ross Battin, RR 2 Monkton,
brother of the bride.
A wedding dinner followed in
the church parlour. In the
evening a reception was held at
the Community Centre,
Brodhagen with 200 guests
attending.
The bride's mother chose a
street length dress of champagne
beige, sparkle crepe with a
draped neckline in an "A" line
style. She wore beige accessories
and a hat in beige and gold tones
and a corsage of bronze mums.
The groom's mother wore an
aqua blue corded crepe street
length, "A" line dress featuring a
wedding ring collar. Pink
accessories and a corsage of pink
mums completed her ensemble.
For a wedding trip to the east
coast, the bride changed to a
carnation pink French knit silk
de . Lyon two piece dress, a
white wool coat with gold
military buttons, black
accessories and a corsage of
white mums.
Upon their return, Mr. and
Mrs. Mann will reside at RR 1,
Monitton.
Guests attented from Calgary,
Alberta, London, Toronto,
Listowel, Monkton, Hanover,
Atwood Moncrieff, Clinton,
Seaforth, Staffa, Simcoe,
Ingersoll Tillsonburg, Kitchener,
Stratford Exeter, 'Milverton,
Walton and. Goderich.

Varna and Rev. D, Stevens of
Egmondville officiated at the
double ring ceremony.
Organist Mrs. Robert Stirling
accompanied Mrs. Russell
Mathers and Mrs. Russell Lee
who sang I'll Walk Beside You,
Wedding Prayer, and 0 Perfect
Love.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride was radiant in a
floor length gown of Lagoda
crepe fashioned in sheath style
with an empire waist. The cape
effect back gave the gown sleeve
appearance and was edged in
chantilly lace. The detachable
train fell from the waist back in
graceful folds. Her fingertip veil
of layered tulle was held in
place by a small band of
chantilly lace, and she carried a
white Bible with white
streamers, crested with,a mauve
orchid.
Maid of honour was Mary
Ellen Andrews of Clinton, She
wore an A line styled mauve
organza gown with an empire
waist, completed bodice and
elbow ruffled sleeves covered in
crochetted white lace and edged
in a daisy design of the same,
She wore a headpiece of material
matching her dress, made of
rroto by "NEIL) Dowso
three small flowers and tulle.
She carried a cascade of Shasta.
daisies and mauve netting.
Bridesmaids 'were Mrs.
Dowson of Exeter ,ankairiS
Harris of R.R.. holmesvillep
Their dresses, flowers, and
headpieces were similar to the
maid of honour. Flowergirl was
Kelly Caldwell, of St. 'Thomas,
niece of the bride. She wore a
white outfit, similar to the maid
of honour. Ringbearer was David
Consitt of Zurich, nephew of the
bride.
Groomsman was David Pugh
of Clinton, and guests were
ushered by Doug Dowson,
Exeter, and Steve Harris,
Holmesville.
A reception was held in the
basement of Varna United
Chuich, decorated ' with white
bells and streamers for the
occasion. The bride's mother
received her guests in a dress of
pirik linen sheath with
three-quarter length lace coat
and a corsage of white
carnations. The groom's mother
chose a pale blue two piece
outfit and wore a corsage of
white carnations.
For a honeymoon trip to
Northern Ontario, the bride
chose an outfit of lime green
chiffon over lace with navy
accessories.
In the evening a reception
was held in Clinton Community
Centre with music provided by
Ian Willbee's orchestra.
The couple will reside in
Clinton,
The bride was honoured with
several showers prior to her
marriage.
