Rules for the Show:
1. No exhibitor" may show more than one entry in any
class.
2. The exact number of spikes or blooms called for must
be shown.
3. All exhibits must be in place by 11:45 a.m.
4. Show opens to the put lic at 3 p.m.
5. The name of the va ;ety or exhibit -is requested, if
possible, the exhibitor 1.o place the name on a card.
6, A bud on any entry is classed as a bloom if it shows
colour.
7. Candles may be included in Class 29, and they may be
more than 10 inches high.
8. Accessories arid any other foliage are allowed in the
arrangements.

Clinton was the setting for the
marriage of Mary Elizabeth
Cartwright and John Bruce
Lockhart on Saturday, July 13
at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. G. S.
Sharpies officiated at the double
ring ceremony.
The bride is ,the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Burrows of
Clinton, The groom is the son of
•Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Lockhart,
also of Clinton.
Cathy Potter was organist and
Mrs. Gurnos James, Clinton sang
"When He Gave Me You."
The bride, given in marriage
by her step-father, wore a floor
length gown of Lagoda crepe.p A
pearled daisy guipure lace
outlined the bodice, elbow
sleeves and circled the
detachable train, which cascaded
from a bow at. the back neckline.
Her shoulder length four tiered
veil of silk illusion fell from a
floral cluster of roses and petals.
She carried a cascade
arrangement of yellow roses and
stephanotis. "
Mrs. Ian MacDonald of
Ilderton was matron of honour.
Bridesmaids were Misses Janet
Lockhart, Clinton; sister of the
groom, and Regina Horbanuik of
Windsor. They, were ,gowned
i'A1,7070ength-gCokils of
lime green chiffon with chiffon
over gown in coat effect. Swiss
embroidery emphasized the
empire line and the cuffs of the
long puff sleeves. They wore
matching floral headdresses. The
attendants carried crescents of
white shasta daisies.
Barry Glazier of Kitchener
was groomsman. Guests were
ushered by Don Lockhart,
Temagami, brother of the
groom, and Doug Cartwright;
Clinton, brother of the bride.
The reception' dinner was
held at the Hotel Clinton.
• The bride's mother wore a
blue lace ensemble with white
accessories and a'corsage of pink .
carnations.
The groom's mother wore a
mint green dress of rayon crepe
with white accessories and
corsage of pink 'carnations.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario, the bride chose an
CARTWRIGHT
A-line mint green dress of rayon
crepe with a lace coat, white
accessories and a corsage of red
roses.
The couple will reside in
Clinton.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was entertained at several
showers. A miscellaneous shower
was held at the home of Mrs.
Elmer Johnston, Clinton, given
by Miss Regina Horbanuik of
Windsor, and Mrs. Ian
MacDonald of Ilderton. Mrs. J.
A. Addison, Clinton, aunt of the
groom, held a kitchen shower at
her home. A shower was given
by the Clinton HOspital Staff in
the Nurses Residence, and Mrs.
Ken Lee, Blyth held a shower at
the home of Mrs. Arnold
McConnell, Goderich.
Mrs. Lindsay Burrows
entertained at a trousseau tea for
her daughter on July 6 at the
home of Mrs. Doug Cartwright.

swimming and renewing
memories of other days.
