The building committee of
the Community Centre held a
brief meeting on Monday last.
Discussion centered on the
finishing of the auditorium at
the arena. It was decided to
install walls, ceiling tiles, floor
tiles and the, windows
overlooking the skating area. -
Mr. and Mrs. George Dewar,
Mark and Peter, St. Catharines
were visitors last' weekend of
Mrs. William Metcalf, her guests
this weekend were: Mrs. Thora
Davis, Mrs. Ruth Schonberg and
Miss H. Bauschard of Erie,
Pennsylvania
The annual meeting of the
Pioneer Park Association will be
held in the Park on Saturday,
August 10 at 10 a,m. Members
and those interested are .
requested to bring folding chairs.
The Association will sponsor a
concert in$ the park by the
Goderich Town Kinsmen Band
on Monday evening, August 12
at 7:30 n.m.
Mrs. Mary Kreuger of
Kitchener, spent last week with
' Mrs. W. R. Elliott. Joining them
on Sunday was Mrs. Arthur
Fryer of Stratford and Mr. and'
Mrs. John Elliott and family of
Kitchener, who will spend the
week with his mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Bezyak of
Warren, Michigan were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Weston several
days last week. Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Peters, Detroit were also
guests of Dan Weston on the
weekend.

McLennon of Kitchener called
on friends in the village on
Sunday. Mrs. McLennon was
formerly Betty Sauder,
granddaughter of the late. Mr.
and Mrs. H. W. Irwin, Bayfield.
