50th Anniversary
The Walkerburn Club held
their 50th anniversary party last
Wednesday evening at the home
of the president, Mrs. Ted
flunking. Mrs. Hunking was
chairman for this event and
welcomed all former members
and members.
A sing-song was led by Mrs,
Walter Cunningham with Mrs.
James Jackson at the piano. A
humorous reading — The Party
Line — was given by Mrs. Donald
Sprung of Goderich using names
of past and present members.
Mrs. Ernest Durnin and her
sister, Mrs. Charles Adams of
Goderich sang two duets which
were much appreciated. A piano
solo was played by Vaughan
Hunking and a reading entitled
Fifty Years ago was given by
Mrs. Ernest Durnin. After
another amusing reading by Mrs.
Sprung, Mrs. Ernest Patterson of
Goderich gave a reading about
the town of Walkerburn written
by the late Mrs. Alex Manning.
An imprompto skit I

this anniversary party. Those
taking part were Miss Margaret
R. Jackson, Mrs, Elliott Lapp,
Mrs. Stewart Ament, Mrs. Roy
