Organist Miss Lois Gxasby
accompanied soloist Mary Ann
Hayter who, sang "Oh Perfect
Love", "The Lord's Prayer", and
"This is Our Day".
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a floor
length gown of white taffeta
with empire waist styling. The
bodice was appliqued with
chantilly lace and tiny seed
pearls. The gown was further
enhanced by the Cathedral train
trimmed with scallops of
chantilly lace held at the waist
by a large bow. Her veil of tulle
illusion was held by a cluster of
chantilly lace petals appliqued
with tiny seed pears. She carried
a white Prayer Book crested
with 'red talisman roses with
streamers holding matching rose
buds.
Attending the bride were Miss
Pat O'Reilly, Goderich, maid of
honour, and bridesmaids Mrs.
Jac olyn Griffiths, Goderich,
sister of the birde,, and Mrs.
cAr,claynn Vincent, Galt,
sister-in law of. „the bride. They
were gowned identically in floor
length gowns of aqua and white,
with empire styling, and a back
panel of aqua set in the white
skirt. A single carnation
surrounded by sprigs of
lily-of-the-valley complimented
the matching head-pieces of
aqua net. Their bouquets were
of white shasta daisies.
Flower girl, little Miss Brenda
Bolton of Goderich, wore a floor
length gown of pink sparkle
linen on the A-line style. The
white organdy train was fitted at
the waist by a large bow similar
to that of the bride. She carried
a dainty basket of white shasta
daisies. A nephew of the bride,
Christopher Griffiths, was ring
bearer.
Groomsman was Bill
Hutchins, R.R. 3 Clinton, and
guests were ushered by Bruce
Vincent, Galt, brother of the
bride, and Steve McGuire,
Clinton, a cousin of the groom.
A reception was held in the
Auburn Community Memorial
Hall following the ceremony,
where a dinner was served by a
unit from Knox U.C.W. Silver
candelabras provided the setting
for a three-tiered wedding cake.
The bride's mother received
guests in a mauve and white
brocade ensemble with white
accessories, and was assisted by
the groom's mother who wore a
turquoise and grey taffeta dress
with white accessories. Both
wore white carnation corsages.
For travelling, the bride
selected a navy linen dress with a,
matching 'checked :coat, white
accessories and a white carnation
corsage. •
Following a wedding trip to
Niagara Falls, Montreal, and a
brief tour of the United States,
the couple will reside at R.R. 3
Clinton.
The bride was entertained at
showers given in her honour by
Miss Pat O'Reilly, Goderich,
assisted by Mrs. Don Larder, and
by Mrs. Alec Mallough at the
home of Mrs. Paul Baechler.

setting when, Rev. R. Wenham
joined in holy wedlock Patricia
Anne Hunt, Preston, and
Gordon Cameron Sinclair,
Kitchener, on June 8 at 3 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Hunt, Clinton.
The groom the son of Mr. and
Mrs. W. Sinclair, Elora.
. Given in marriage by her
father, the bride was elegant in
an empress line formal gown of
lagoda crepe, featuring fitted
bodice, A-line skirt appliqued
with Swiss guipure lace, and
elbow length sleeves edged with
matching lace. A headpiece of
matching rosebuds and petals
with pearl centres, held a tiered
illusion floor-length veil, over a
chapel train from the waistline.
She carried a cascade bouquet of
white roses and English ivy.
The maid of honour, Miss
Catherine Hunt, Clinton, sister
of the bride, and bridesmaids
Mrs, Kenneth Moore, Waterford,
both -wore formal gowns of deep
pink .spantastic, with A-line
skirts, einnress lines, :a fitted
bodice, and elbPw length sleeves.

Ralph Elliott Trewartha,
Orangeville, son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. N, Trewartha, RR 3, Clinton
in a ceremony at Delhi :United
Church, May 18, with the Rev.
Dr. Young officiating.
The bride chose a princess
style gown of peau, de soie with
yoke, sleeves, and trailing
detachable train of chantilly lace
from France. Her veil was of
shoulder length silk illusion with
white rose insets of chantilly
lace, and she carried a bouquet
of white roses and fern.
Miss Joyce Husul, La Salette,
was her sister's maid of honour,
and wore pink chiffon over
tafetta, with an empire waist
line, and lace bodice. Her
headpiece was fashioned from
white velvet ribbon, ' and she
carried a bouquet of blue
cornflowers and, fern.
The bridesmaids, Patsy Husul,
La Salette, and Margaret
Trewartha, Clinton, were
gowned similarily to the maid of
honour, hut in ice blue.
Flower girl, Miss Shirley
Husul, cousin of the bride, wore
loose fitting white chiffon over
tafetta, with silver braid on
collar and cuffs. Her headpiece
back neckline to the floor, and
matching buttons adorned the
back of the bodice. The
headpieces were of matching
rosettes, and they carried
cascade bouquets of miniature
white carnations and matching
tulle.
Groomsman was Michael
Wilson, Kitchener and the guests
were ushered by Thomas
Spence, Toronto, and George
Spence, Sarnia.
The reception was held at the
Bedford Hotel, Goderich, where
the guests were welcomed by the
mother of ,the bride in an ice
blue two piece boucle dress,
with mathcing flowered hat
white accessories, and a corsage
of white sweetheart roses.
Assisting her was the groom's
mother who chose a suit of deep
blue brocade, white hat and
accessories, and a corsage of
white sweetheart roses.
A two piece deep pink pique
dress, matching hat, white
accessories, and 'gardenia corsage
was the bride's choice for
travelling.
Following a wedding trip to
Northern Ontario, the .couple
will reside in Kitchener.

those of the bridesmaids.

Clarkson, Ontario, was
.ringbearer,
Groomsman was Neale
Trewartha, Clinton, brother of
the groom, and ushers were
Charles Trewartha, Clinton,
Richard Leitch, Simcoe, and
Bob Townsend, Brampton.
The Hungarian Hall, Delhi,
was the setting for the reception,
where guests were received by
the bride's mother in a blue
ensemble; the dress was of
bonded crepe with a lace coat,
White accessories and a corsage
of yellow roses completed her
outfit,
The groom's mother assisted,
wearing a yellow linen ensemble,
with white accessories and a
corsage of talisman roses.
The couple will reside at 31
Shirley Street, Orangeville.

Following the ceremony a
reception and lunch was held in
Mitchell. Legion Hall.
For a wedding trip the bride
and groom travelled to Niagara
Falls and down through the
United States.
Guests were, present from
Kitchener, Toronto, Windsor,
Picton, Guelph, Mitchell . and
surrounding area.
Mr. and Mrs. Copper will
reside in Cobourg.
Young wild animals may be
killed by the touch of a human
hand. They die from starvation
when their mother is frightened
away by the scent of man.
