Lally, and Padre P. DeLong enjoyed a delicious pot luck supper pre. .,*pared by the Guild. The tables were decorated with lovely white cloths, !lowers and can. *dles. The ladies wore hats of their own creation and the variety ranged from humourous styles to flowery splendour. Judged best for their hat making talents were Mrs. L. Mullaney and Mrs. Lindsay. As Mrs. Kathy Cook is leay. ing for a new station, the duties of the President will be taken over by Mrs:Mary Cournoyer. Mrs. Eleanor Guthrie coins posed and played two songs for the program, one selection being a farewell tribute to the ladies who are leaving. Mrs. Lola Mills then read a mono. logue to the departing members after which Mrs. Kathy Cook, Hilda Hibbert, Ruby Driscoll, Kay Taylor, Millie McFarland, Joanne Johnson, Grace Du. mayne, and Betty DeLong, were presented with spoons. There were two humourous skits presented on a modern day version of the well known fairy tale adventures, "Cinder.• ella" was directed by Mrs. Tena Cooke .with Doris Groves, Joanne Johnson, Kathy Cook and Colleen Davis playing the various roles. "Walter" Boissevain, pictured above, was recently honoured at a Mess Dinner held on the occasion of his retirement,. Doing the honours Is colonel E, W. Ryan, Base Commander of CEP, Clinton; Major Boissevain was born and educated in Strathmore, Alberta. He served as a navigator in , the, Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942-45, then returned to University, in Edmonton, Alberta to study for a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He rejoined the RCAF as an Accounts Officer in 1958. Major Boissevain is married with four children, Michael, 12; Kerry, 10; Danny, 9; and Wendy, 5. (Canadian Forees Photo) Major D, 3, "pave" Carmichael, D.D.S., pictured above, was recently henoured at a Mess Dinner held on the occasion of his • retirement. Doing the honours is Colonel R. H, G. Cunningham, No. 13 DenM1 Company, CFB Trenton, who was guest at the dinner, Major Carmichael was born in Vancouver, B.C„ where he obtained his public education. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 but returned to university in 1945 in the 'Faculty of Dentistry. Upon graduation he rejoined the Services, *this time as a Captain in the Royal Canadian Dental Corps. Upon retirement Major Carmichael Will assume a teaching position in the F aeul ty of Dentistry at the •Univetesty of Illanitoba in Winnipeg. (Canadian Forces Photo) Captain L, S.
