from Central Huron Secondary
School were honored at the an.
nual Awards Banquet for their
academic and athletic en-
deavours throughout the year.
Following dinner, presenta*
tions of arm bars were made
to representatives of school
teams that did not win a champ.
ionship, These teams were: golf,
curling, junior girls volleyball,
junior boys soccer, junior bad-
minton, junior girls basketball,
junior football, wrestling,
senior boys volleyball, senior •
boys basketball, cross country,
senior boys soccer, senior foot-
ball, senior girls volleyball,
boys and girls track teams.
Trophies were presented to
captains of the school teams
that won championships: senior
girls basketball, senior badmin-
ton, girls gymnastics, and
junior boys basketball.
Students who have maintained
an 80 average were also hon-
ored at the banquet which is
sponsored by the school's Ath-
letic Association. First year
awards of pins went to Joan.

toil and hard work by the
students. People should be
proud to have these "Leaders
of Tomorrow" in our com-
munity.
