Starlight women have April meet The April Meeting of the Starlight Circle of Wesley. Willis Church met at the home of Mrs. Don Jefferson Mon. day April 8. The business portion was con. ducted by the president Mrs. Ken Stephenson. Church women study Japan The spring meeting of St. Andrews Church UCW was held Wednesday of last week with Mrs. Elva Metcalfe in charge. Mrs. Penhale reported for the committee in the matter of the repairing and re.clecorating of the church basement just corn. pleted. ' Mrs. Penhale .also reported for the card committee and the supply committee told of the packing of the- overseas bale of clothing, weighing 170 lbs. This clothing is transported as far as Toronto, free of cost, through the kindness of the Guenther•Tuckey Transport Company of Exeter. It was agreed to remit suf. ficient money for the further transport across the ocean to its destination.
