Mrs. Hilda Hib. Bert gave a devotional using the Easter message of the "Light" of Jesus Christ and how we can apply this theme in our every. day lives as Christians. Mrs. Kathy Cook, president, welcomed the members and Mrs. Rita Ryan read the min, utes of the last meeting. The treasurer Mrs. T ena Cooke then gave her report. Mks. K. Cook reported that an invitation to tour the Clinton Public Hospital on May 15 from 2 - 4 p.m. was received from Mrs. M. Trott, of the Women's Hospital Auxiliary. The purpose of the tour, is to view the new equipment recently purchased for the hospital Conveners for the Strawberry Social to be held on June 26 were named and the following people will be in charge; Gen. eral convener, Mrs. Joyce Hat. ten; Bake Table, Mrs. Doris Groves; pop and -coffee table Mrs. Kathy Cook; children's table,Mrs. Hilda Hibbert; sew- ing table, Mrs. RitaRyan; white elephantable, Mrs. June Reid. From this meeting the camping club was formed. A yearly membership fee of $1 per member or family was as. sessed. The Club now has tenative plans for two group trips this year, one in June and the other in September.
