Community Centre Committee on Tuesday", finance chairman Bob Maloney said that funds are exhausted, but told the 23 members present that an ap. plitation for a grant toward the arena had met with ap. proval. Merton Merner suggested improvements to be roughed in before completing the exterior, namely, an entrance porch to prevent flooding of the dressing rooms area and extra wash room facilities on the second floor. There was a detailed dis. cussion on what could be ac. complished this spring and sum. mer and it was decided to corn. plete the canteen on the ground floor and to blacktop the addl. tional skating area. Funds for these projects will be supplied by the ladies of the Roller ena Committee. Other work will proceed as funds are made available. The ice equipment machine is to be delivered this month. Adam Flowers, ways and means chairman suggested an auction sale and an antique show would be an excellent method of raising funds for the arena. Details will be announced later. • The first of the year's fund raising activities is to be a dance Saturday in the village hall.
