Hillcrest Farm Fortun ,
The Hillcrest Farm Forum
met at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. James Sigsworth Monday
evening. The three groups dis
cussed the questions on com
munity centres.
The forum thought the com
munity centre in the area would
be improved if it was not so
commercialized. It is more like
a commercial enterprise than a
community centre.
It would be better if the com
munity arena were opened to
the community children and
adults on any one afternoon
free of charge.
The school could best serve
the area as a combined com
munity centre and school. There
seems to be more of a commun
ity spirit in a school.
The next meeting is to be’ at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mur-
ray. Herbert.
