Walters bowled high triple, 610 and 227 in one game for the Skunks and Naida Francois’ 658 and 250 topped losers’ bowling, and set the week’s record. A closer battle ended in a four-three decision for Happy Gals over Hot Dogs. M. Thorn­ ton bowled high triple, 532 for the winning Gals and N. Snell 550 and 209 on the losing team. Some of the Legion team had already slipped around the cor­ ner, but returned for an extra frame with the half-dozen. When the smoke had cleared, Reg Tay­ lor said he made it 119 for the Tradesmen and Stan Frayne added 121 for the Big Six. The Big Six went home happy, The Tradesmen just went home However, in checking over the games, we noticed that Stan had dropped bis low score (Lex Mc­ Donald’s S). We knew that the Tradesmen had counted six men. When all errors Were corrected, the six men on each side had rolled to a 119-all tie. Our midget all star team will be playing their Inter-town league games as a preview to the Dashwood games, 7:15-8:15 Friday nights, and likewise with our all star Ban­ tam team playing their games as a preliminary to Exeter home games, 7:15-8:15 Monday eve­ nings. This means that there will be public skating either Wednesday or Thursday evening, depending on Cenralia’s home games, and on Saturday evening.
