A rno Id D ies Mrs. Harry Arnold, prominent, resident of the village for the past here her been time. The former Annie Jeanette Robson, she was born in Ailsa Craig area, and came to Hensall as a bride, where her late hus band owned a private bank known as Molson’s bank, later changed to the Bank of Montreal of which he was manager for years. Mrs. Arnold was a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church. She organized Auxiliary, after her, president. She was a life member of the Women’s Missionary So ciety. Surviving is one sister, Miss Stella Robson, Toronto. Public funeral services were held from the family residence, King St., Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. B. Fox officiating. A musical program was en joyed with Mrs. II. Caldwell as chairlady. The program consisted of a sing-song with Mrs. R. Broadfoot at the piano. Mrs. Harold Jones and Miss Edith Love favored with vocal duets and Edith Love, accom panied on the guitar. Miss Doro thy Turner gave a reading. Carol Faber, Ilene McLean and Mari lyn McLachlan favored with a piano trio. Ann Sinclair, Lois McLellan and Elaine Bell sang and Ann Sinclair accompanied on the gui- tar and Mrs. John Sinclair on the piano. Marie and Ruth Ann Jarrott favored with a piano duet. An impromptu program fol lowed consisting of hidden num bers in balloons at which times the ladies holding the unlucky numbers were requested to en tertain. Mona Caldwell, Mrs. William Caldwell, Mrs. John Cochrane each played a piano solo, Mrs. J. Sinclair a guitar solo, Mrs. E. McBride, Mrs. W. Bell and Miss Lemon readings. Loses Part Of Finger Ronnie Anderson, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson, had the misfortune to cut four fingers of liis left hand on Thursday evening while using the electric saw in the barn. Dr. J. C. Goddard of Hensall rendered first aid and found it necessary to remove him to Clin ton Public Hospital where they amputated the fourth finger at the first joint and stitched the other three.
