Exeter Recreational Council
met Tuesday night in the town
hall to make plans for the
inter season.
New chairman of the council
is Glen Mickle. Miss Norma
Wilson was elected secretary
treasurer.
Action was taken to investi
gate or promote the following
activities: Boy Scouts, Sunday
evening concerts, Saturday
morning classes, minor hockey,
recreational league hockey and
little theatre group.
Another meeting will be held
next I'uesday to draft a budget
lop the coming year and to seek
advice from a representative of
the Programmes Branch of the
Department of Education.

has a flowing well, dug by Nick
Krauskopf and Son, of Dublin.
It was switched by William
Jeffery, of Hurondale and the
curbing was bought from. Mr.
Leslie Turnbull, of Grand Bend,
and lowered by Graham Arthur,
of Exeter. The well is 12 feet
deep and was dug in nine hours
and 45 minutes.
