A good attendance was present. Rev. Rodgers, of Hensail, in­ ducted the new minister. He was assisted by Rev. W. Maines, of Brucefield, A large choir, under the direction of Miss Jean Ivison, rendered an anthem. Rev. Maineg addressed the minister, after which Rev. Rodgers addressed the congrega­ tion. Following the benediction, a reception was held in the Sun­ day School room. Those in the receiving line were Rev. and Mrs. N. McLeod, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Love, Mr. and Mrs. Emer­ son Kyle, Mrs, Edgar McBride and Mrs. John Sinclair. Following the lunch, Mr. Emerson Kyle presented Rev. Visser-Molenaar Marry In Kippen St. Andrew’s United Church, Kippen, was the scene of a very pretty wedding Saturday after­ noon at 2 p.m,. when the Rev. Maines united in marriage Mary Molenaar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Molenaar, of South Holland, to Adrian Visser, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Visser, also of South Holland. The church was beautifully decorated with large baskets of gladiolis and mums. Mr. John Caldwell played the wedding music. The bride entered the church on the arm of Mr. Peter Rossen- burg, of London, and was very attractive in a floor-length gown of white satin with long sleeves tapering to a point over the hands. The skirt formed a train. She wore a small white hat from which fell a shoulder-length veil. She carried an arm bouquet ‘ of red roses and white daisy mums and fern. In keeping with a Dutch custom she also carried a small white purse. Mrs. Adrian Timmerman was bridesmaid and wore a floor­ length gown of pale green cord­ ed silk with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Adrian Timmerman was best man. A wedding supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Sinclair. Mr. and Mrs. Visser will reside in Seaforth. Meets With Kirkton Group The July Women’s Institute meeting was held in the base­ ment of the Kirkton United Church with Elimville W.l. as guests. Mrs. A. T, Wiseman opened the meeting with a short reading. A program on “Health” was conducted with Mrs. C. Switzer as convenor. Readings were given by Mrs. Warren Brock and Mrs. Wes Batten, Miss Dickson, director of St. Marys Memorial Hospital, was the guest speaker. Her subject was “Three Centur­ ies of Canadian Nursing." Mrs. H. Bell and Mrs. H. Del- bridge sang a duet and Mrs. Wiseman gave a talk on ’Health’. Mrs. Hunter, president of Elim­ ville Institute, gave a talk, “We call it Human Nature”, and then conducted a contest on mental health. This lovely evening was concluded with refreshments by the committee in charge. HARPLEY Mr. and Mrs. Alex Love, of Mdose Jaw, Sask., are visiting his relatives here. On Tuesday evening. Mrs. Eddie Gill and daughter Elaine and Mrs. William and Colin Love went to London to attend a trousseau tea honoring Miss Lenore Johnson, of London. Mr. and Mrs. William Love entertained recently at a lunch­ eon held on the lawn for their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Love.
