How Beautena’s
Grown With
Purina Plan!
Beautena, the Holstein calf who lias spent the
past two months in the show window of Cann’s Mill’s
new display room, came as a 124-pound calf at one
month of age. Now at 3 months old she weighs 234
pounds, gaining 110 pounds in 60 days. To celebrate
her third monthly birthday she received an extra
helping of Purina Calf Starter. Many folks expressed
their surprise at the progress of Beautena as it was
charted.
Beautena will be given away to some lucky win
ner when she is 5 months old. You can be a winner
and still support your local ball club. So be sure to
get your lucky ticket from any of the Exeter base
ball club members or Cann’s Mill.
Beautena is part of a nation-wide practical de
monstration by Purina dealers to prove the value of
feeding a good ration to help dairy calves develop
into big dairy quality heifers.
