Betty and Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fletcher visited Mr. and Smith at Aylmer and Mrs. and his Campbell, spent the M rs> William Ven ner Dies In Seaforth Mrs. William Venner, highly esteemed resident of Chiselhurst, died in Scott Memorial Hospital, Seaforth, on Wednesday, in her seventy-fourth year. Mrs. Venner had been enjoy­ ing good health but on Sunday evening she suffered a stroke. She was the former Ellen Mc­ Leod. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McLeod and was born of Concession 16, West Williams, near Parkhill. She was the second oldest of a family of 15, She has resided in Chisel­ hurst since her marriage 4 7 years ago. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Florence, Mrs. William Kyle, of Kippen; two sons. Lloyd, of Hensail, and Jim, at home; seven brothers and four sisters. One son, Nor­ man, died in infancy. NOTICES FOR RENT MISCELLANEOUS WINCHELSEA Excitement There was considerable excite­ ment in the village late Satur­ day evening when almost every­ one was awakened by a serious car accident, A carload of young people from Stratford overturn­ ed and landed in the creek on the farm of John Batten. One young boy was quite seriously injured, while the other three escaped with minor cuts and suffered from shock. The new De Soto ear in which they were completelyriding was almost demolished. After two days under the pile of hay and rubble the «lieep were still alive, but two had brok­ en legs.
