Mr. and Mrs. Clint Sweet and Miss Irene Sweet left Saturday for a trip to the western provin­ ces. Mrs. Valeria Damrose, of Bad Axe, Michigan., is at- present visiting with relatives and friends in this vicinity. Mrs. George Willert of Pe­ trolia spent last week visiting her sister, Mrs. E. Broderick. Mrs. Robert Talbot of Edmon­ ton, Alberta is visiting at pre­ sent with her mother, Mrs. An­ gus Murray. Bob Nichol of The Times-Ad- vocate staff, is at Westminister Hospital, London, suffering from Malaria. Mr. Harvey Sparling under­ went an operation at Victoria Hospital, London, Sunday. Mr. George Robertson, Wing­ ham, visited with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Hopper and family over the week-end. Don and Elaine Squires, child­ ren of Mr. and Mrs. Orland Squires had their tonsils remov­ ed last Wednesday by Dr. Flet­ cher. Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Roulston, Gail and Karen of Simcoe were week-end visitors with Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Plowaid and Mrs. V. A. Roulston, Miss Mary Fletcher, formerly of Exeter, attended the Floyd- Roberts wedding in London Sat­ urday. The groom is Birute Floyd, son of former Exeter bank manager W. J. Floyd. WO1 Wilf Greenhough and Mrs. Greenhough were in Hamil­ ton over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Will Mulcaster and Mr. and Mrs. George Salter of Essex and Miss Eveline Sat- ter of Los Angeles visited with Mrs. Emily Salter and Meta on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Haas of Buffalo are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Herb Ford. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Moir and Kathleen of st. Catherines visit­ ed. with Mrs. C. Frayne over the week-end and attended the Pass- more picnic at Ipperwash. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Heywood, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Heywood, Mr. and Mrs. (’lurk Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wescott spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. A. Dayman at Grand Bend.
