Cromarty Couple Honored By Friends A pleasant evening was spent at the home of Mrs. Houghton Friday, when about 25 friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay McKellar had arranged a surprise party in honor of their thirtieth ary. Euchre and were enjoyed, read by Miss Mrs. T. Scott presented served. On Sunday _ _ took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McKellar when a sumptuous dinner was served with a three-tier wedding cake centering the table. The family presented their parents with a beautiful table lamp. Miss Olive Speare had as her guests over the weekend Mrs. Bessie McDonald, Exeter, and Mr. and Mrs. Gersham Speare and Mr. Frank Speare and his son Harry, all of Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Scott and twin daughter motored to Emila City, Mich., Sunday to attend the celebration of Mrs. Scott’s grand­ mother’s ninety-first birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wright have gone on a trip to Washing­ ton, U.S.A., accompanied by their nephew, Mr. Jack Wright, Sarnia.
