The Queen has started a number of improvements in the 690-room pal ace ordering the installation of steam heating in many of the rooms, supervising the color .schemes for rooms in which she will spend most of her time. Seven rooms on the second floor have been redecorated in pastel shades at her order. The beauty of many of the rooms and .fixtures as shown (right) is breathtaking but, being old, much of the electrical land heating system is old-fashioned and inadequate. Queen Mother Elizabeth, moving into Clarence House, will find furniture and fixtures relatively modern. —C.P.C. ission Circles Hold Jo ini Meeting The Thames Road United Church Mission Circle met with the James Street group Tuesday, March 11.
