Th© monthly meeting of the W.M.S. was held in the church on Wednesday afternoon with members of the Evening Auxil­ iary present. The meeting was opened with a hymn and prayer by Mrs. G. Wanless. Readings were given by Mrs. G. Dann and Mrs. G. Camm. Musical numbers were given by Mrs. G, Wanless, Lorna Dann, and Shirley Mills. Mrs. I. Gleason, of Uniondale was guest speaker for the meet­ ing. Mrs. F. Pattison closed the meeting. Lunch was served by several ladies of the afternoon auxiliary. GREENWAY The Harmony Class of the United Church will hold their meeting on Friday evening at the home of -Mr. and Mrs. John Steeper. W.S. of the Evangelical U.B. Church met at the parsonage for the annual meeting. A large number of ladies were in attendance and a chapter in the study book was reviewed by Mrs. R. Krueger and Mrs. H. Schenk. Mtb E. Wenzel conducted the business when $10 was voted to C.N.I.B. and $50' to current fund of church. Splendid reports were given by convenors of all com­ mittees. , Rev. Dahms presided for the election of officers. Mrs. E. Wenzel was again named presi­ dent of the society. Hern has pur­ chased a house in Exeter and expects to go there to reside in the^ifear future. We will be sor­ ry to have Mrs. Hern leave our community.
