Borden Sanders of Lon­ don, an Exeter Old Boy, has been successful in examinations lead­ ing to fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. This gives him the status of a specialist in medicine. He is es­ tablishing a practice in internal medicine at Welland. Rally At Crediton The Youth Rally reported in last week’s issuse was held in Cre­ diton at the EUB Church there, not in Dashwood as was stated in the story. A thanks to our Crediton correspondent for bring­ ing it to our attention. Bill Lisney, son of Mr, and Mrs. Vernon Heywood, had his appendix removed on Friday, February 16, at St. Joseph’s Hos­ pital. He is expected home this week-end. Bob will at­ tend Radio College for the next four months to finish a course in radio technology and televi­ sion, which he has been study­ ing at home for several months. Mrs.- Thomas and Kenneth Ar- kell, Frank Gregus and Lome Preszcator spent the week-end in­ Montreal. Mrs. Riddell, of London, spent Friday with her mother, Mrs. E. Flynn, who is much improved since her return home. Mrs. Wil­ liam Lewis of Clandeboye also visited Mrs. Flynn recently. Mr. Harold Flynn of Centra­ lia spent Saturday in Exeter. F/O Gordon Squires, who has been stationed in Summerside, P.E.I., for the past two year has been posted to McDonald, Mani­ toba. He commences his duties on February 21. Mrs. Squires is at present, visiting with her par­ ents, Mr. and -Mrs. Alvin Moir,, before going on to McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. A. daughter, Bonnie of Sarnia were Sunday visitors Mrs. Hector Taylor.
