There does seem to be so much to talk about and plan for Award Night. It wasn’t all talk because the recruits were passing tests like sixty and they did well. The First Class Guides con centrated on their Semaphore and First Aid and passed sewing and ing. Our three first some bedmak- class i Guides were a great help to Cap tain in teaching Semaphore and First Aid too. Campfire followed s and certainly hope for be'tter singing next week. We discussed a Bake Sale during Guide-Scout week and the Church parade and Award Night. Guides are reminded again to be at the meeting by 7 p.m. next week. So long for now, and we luck Captain. Just For Howls And more howls. Akela was hoarse for after that meeting. Here’s a note to the boys who will soon be too old for regular cubs. Akela says that you will really have to prove yourselves and get all your second star tests and badges before you can go on with Scout work. Some of you have already been hepling teach the other boys and that’s a good mark for you,It’s nice to see the rest of the boys getting down to passing tests too. Yours for quiet Monday nights, Gus.
