Hensall picked up two vic­ tories to give Bill an even won-lost record. Harri­ son’s two goals led them to a 6-3 win over St. Marys Monday night. A. and J. Nicholson, Hildebrand and Munroe knotched the regt. Don Fletcher counted two of the stone town’s total. Dashwood took their fifth de­ feat from the Hensall six Friday night by the tune of 8-2. Harri­ son sniped three, Sangster and Hildebrand two and Knight one foi’ the winners while Jimmy Hayter and Willert counted for Dashwood. C, Hume sparked the winners with 649 (250) while Longley’s 613 (254) was best for Pop’s crew. The Spare Parts stayed five points off the top by taking five from the Dukes. Lloyd Cushman starred for Ed’s with 648 (282). Gord Stringer had a 620 (216) night for the lads. The Maroons, led by Bill Hey­ wood’s 543 (257), gave the Pin­ poppers another push down hill by a 5-2 victory. Don Southcott bowled 631 (250) for the paper­ men. Last Wednesday, the Dukes blanked the coloured shirts 7-0 with the help of J. Petrie’s 65 6 (263). Bill Heywood again paced Traquair’s team with 543 (257). Whizz Bangs Lose The Whizz Bangs lost 5-2 to the Applejacks but it didn’t make any difference in the standing. Chuck Parsons’ 707 (263) was best for the Apple­ jacks and Irv Armstrong bowled 672 (243) for the Bangs. The Chuckers hit the win col­ umn again with a 5-2 victory over the Strikes. T. A. Hoskins continues to lead the individual average bowlers and he helped himself to the tune of 707 (255) for the Chuckers. Cliff White paced the Strikes with 628 (268). The Rural Rollers stopped the Short Circuits 5-2 with the help of Lloyd Stewart’s 577 (217) night. Doug Harrison was best for the electricians with 791 (288).Last Wednesday, the Apple­ jacks took five from the Pan­ thers. How Holtzman led the winners with 521 (297) and B. Anyway you look at it, this league is upside-down. During the past week, Ilderton showed they weren’t kidding about tak­ ing over this group in their first year in it. They trounced their nearest rivals, Zurich, 8-5 Friday night for year. With a sheet, you fit isn’t a Six men, Evans, O’Neil, A. Scott, McNair, Loft and Urbshott, all figured in the scoring. Zurich marksmen were Hesse (two), Barash, McKinley, and O'Brien. Ilderton coasted to their win on a 5-1 first period lead. Zurich continues to lead the “B” section of the group. For the victors, Georgina Webster bowled the highest score, a 632 triple and 232 in one game. For the losers, Kay Hay bowled 'best with 493. The Trailers came way up from behind for eighth spot and another seven-point victory over .the Yarn Spinners. Top honors for the Trailers were shared by Maxine Reeder and Dorothy Pfaff who both bowled 478 tri­ ples. For the Yarn Spinners, A. Ford’s 497 was highest. The Hi-Lights took five points in their match with the Cracker­ jacks. For thej winners, Helen Shapton bowled 525 and 211. Best for the losers was a 424 triple by N. Snell. A seven-point total made the Hot Dogs best in their contest with the Jolly Jills. A. Brock bowled 602 and 242 for top spot on the winning team and for the losing .Tills, Annie Lawson and G. Bierling tied for high place with 501 each in three games. The Pin Heads were, enough pins ahead with their handicap to take the Frisky Sisters for a seven-point ride. Pat Stone’s 533 triple showed best when scores were compared among the win­ ning Pin Heads. For the not Frisky enough Sisters, Phil Ha­ worth was on top of the list with 63 0 and 221. The Merry Maids held their ground for five points when they met the Happy Gals. H. Beaver bowled 590 and 228 for highest score among the Maids.
