By bilu BATTEN Wintry winds did not chill the moral of the EHS football team as they defeated the St. Marys squad 17-5 in a sudden death fixture for the tri-school hon ors. John Hicks and Ken Moir proved to be the big guns for the local squad but all the boys played excellent football. St. Marys started off fast with a long pass which was complet ed for their first and only touch down of the game. This aroused the local boys and after a steady march down the field Ken Moir passed to John Hicks in side the opponents end zone for the first touchdown. Bob Wade converted for the extra point. Shortly after the local boys made their way down into the St. i Marys end and a third down kick by Glen Schroeder was fumbled by St. Marys in their end zone and John Hicks pounc ed on it touchdown. Late in spectacular pdt the one for touchdown which by kicking a convert extra point. As none of these teams is en tered in WOSSA the local foot- bal season is ended taking top honors.
