Mr. William G. Bird of Kincardine has accepted a position with Beavers Hard
ware, managing their service department. Mr. Bird served with the R.C.A.F. from
1942^ till 1946. He served overseas as a wireless air gunner for a year and a
half. After leaving the R.C.A.F. in 1945, he took a course in Radio and Elec
tronics at the Ontario Rehabilitation Institute in Toronto.
He has been manager of the service department of Shiells of Kincar
dine for the past five years.
