A lovely wedding took place
yesterday at the United Church
manse, Varna, when the Rev. T.
J. Pitt united in marriage Helen
Marie Erratt. daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Russell Erratt, Varna,
and William Harvey Taylor, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Taylor,
Brucefield.
The bride wore traditional
white satin, styled with sweetheart
neckline and long pointed sleeves
A panel of French lace overlaid
the bodice in front and extend
ed to the hemline and a satin
applique reached from the neck
line to the hem and offset the
gathered shirt, which fell into a
gentle sweep. A tiara of seed
pearls held her fingertip veil of
French silk illusion and she car
ried a bouquet of red roses.

er, Mrs. William Brown and
Mrs, H. C. Bell sang a duet en
titled “Bless This House’’, ac
companied by Miss Edith Love.

was the guest speaker, present
ing an inspiring address. A vote
of thanks was extended by Mrs.
J. Peterson and Mrs. Edwards
