KIPPEN Mr. and Mrs. Archie Parsons, Harold and Donnie were Sunday visitors of Mr, and Mrs. Russel Ferguson of Chiselhurst. Mr. and Mrs. A. Gackstetter and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. William Horney of Exeter and LAC Ken Hayes of Gimli, Man., attended decoration services at St. James’ Cemetery, Clandeboye, on Sunday and visited at the home of Mr, and Mrs* Joe Car ter. Miss Merle Deckert spent the week-end with relatives in Clif ford. Misses Gerald Parsons, Keith and Bob Love spent several days last week at the CNE in Toronto and also in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Crystal Beach. Carolyn and Lorne Gackstet ter, who spent last week at fhe home of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs, A, Gackstetter, re turned to their home near Exeter on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Love are spending this week, in Toronto. Miss Marion Thompson left on Monday for Londesboro, where she will teach school. Mr. and Mrs. C. Allison visit ed on Monday with the latter’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr, and Mrs, Samuel Thompson. Hensall Man Wins Trap Shoot Honors At the Grand American Trap Shoot held at Vandalia, Ohio, left handed shot, John Anderson, of Hensall, hit 9 4 out of 100 handicap targets which included a 50 straight. Nicol, ACCO organist and choirmaster of Carmel Pres byterian Church, who left Wednes day for Timmins to be music supervisor in five organist in the Church there, was honored when members of the choir here pre sented him with a gift in recogni tion of his services. Mrs. A. Kers- lake made the presentation. Mr. Nicol also received indivi dual gifts. Returns Home Miss Elizabeth Slavin, 87, who fractured her hip some time ago and was in Clinton hospital for some weeks, and also in Mrs. Hodgert’s nursing home, Exeter, is back at her home again, very happy to he home.
