C. Raymer on Satur­ day. Mauve, yellow and white gladioli and burning tapers form­ ed the background, Frank Gol-» lings presided at the organ, and Mrs. R. S. Hardie was soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. James F. Henderson, Granton, and the groom * is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Douglas R. Bradford, Lacute, P.Q. Given in marriage by her bro­ ther, Andrew Henderson, the bride wore daffodil yellow nylon marquisette, floor-length, de­ signed with a fitted bodice, pleated bertha, and full skirt. A coronet of seed pearls held the fingertip illusion veil, and the .bride earned a bouquet of mau­ ve orchids and white stephanotis. Mrs. John E. Tyler, of Pres­ ton, was matron of honor, dress­ ed in lilac nylon marquisette, and she carried a bouquet of white stephanotis and yellow ros­ es. The groom’s sister,- Miss Mar­ garet Bradford, was flower girl, gowned in emerald green nylon marquisette, and carrying a nose-, gay of yellow Pinocchio roses and white sweet peas. Charles K. Lochead was the groomsman, and ushers were Robert G. Lindsay and Floyd Bradford. At a reception at Pinecrest Inn, St. Marys, the bride’s moth­ er wore a blue crepe and lace dress with navy accessories, and a cor­ sage of white and pink carna­ tions. The groom’s mother chose grey crepe, with white accessor­ ies and a corsage of pink carna­ tions. For .a trip to Muskoka, the bride donned a posy-pink gabardine suit with Tahiti blue accessories, and an orchid cor­ sage. The couple will live in St. Marys. The groom is a graduate of McGill University. The letter was translated as follows: Dear Madam,I We received your gift today, land we thank you very much. I am from a little town of St. James. Our home was burned down during the occupation and my parents were killed at the time. We sister, look glad to receive your parcel, as we have no home or clothing.
