Interrupted by light showers and finally playing on a wet field, both teams played good ball until the fifth when the RCAF team fell apart in the field to give the locals six runs. The Flyers had another bad inning in the seventh and Exeter took, the opportunity to score five more. f Bob Russell started on the mound for Exeter and held the airmen for two innings, although one unearned run was scored. Joe Mitro took over in the third with two men on bases. The runs came in but that was the last the Flyers saw of home plate. Lenahan opened the scoring Greys Lose, llderton 4-3 The Exeter Greys had a tough battle to hold llderton nine in the game played af Arva on Thursday, and llderton finally broke loose in the last of the eight inning with the assistance of an error by Exeter to break the tie and score the winning run. On Tuesday, a postponed game between Centra­ lia and Lucan resulted in an Ir­ ish win of 6-1. Exeter Bantams Defeat Wingham Tuesday evening the local ban­ tam baseball club travelled to Wingham for their second league game and came up with the sec­ ond win, 4-2. . It proved to be a very well played game with good pitching and fine fielding 'by 'both clubs.
