The fans hope the will do a little winning week for a change. team next Explorers Meet Owing to the holiday, the Ex­ plorers’ meeting was held Tues­ day night at the United Church. A very one-sided ball game— score 14-1—was held first on the church lawn. At the meeting in the basement which followed, a missionary project was begun. Meadd Reunion The 'Corbett farm was the scene of a very happy occasion on Sunday when 8 6 of the Meadd relatives met to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harmon (nee Beulah Meickle) of Mitchell, S.D. After a short honeymoon in Canada Mr. and Mrs. Harmon will take up residence in Cali­ fornia. Guests were .present from Ailsa Craig, Parkhill, Arkona, Clifford, Teeswater, Paris, Kit­ chener, Islington, Guelph, Lon­ don, Delewhre, Mt. Bridges and Lucan. The theme for the meet­ ing was, “The House ~ Rock.” The Scripture and Thoughts were given Smith and Mrs. William Elford# The programme was in charge of Mrs. Whitehouse and was in a* form of a playet entitled, “The Women Friends of* Jesus.’’ Those assisting were: Mrs. Flickweert, Mrs. Nelson Squire, Mrs. Hume, Mrs. Edwin Miller, Mrs. Alvin Passmore, Mrs. William Rohde, Mrs. Aimer Passmore and Mrs. Mac Hodgert.
