Sunday School Special Service At Community Centre Sunday, June 10, will mark the first anniversary of the of­ ficial opening of the Lucan Com­ munity Memorial Centre and will be properly observed with a church service at 3 p.m. The Very Rev. R. Charles Brown, Dean of Huron, will be the guest speaker and special music will be provided by a Communi- ity Choir. Flowers and flags will decorate the Centre. Every person in the com m u til­ ity who is interested in singing will be welcome at the rehearsal on Saturday, June 9, at 8:30 in the committee room at the Cen­ tre. Former district farmer William Abbott Sholdice, 77, died at Beck Memorial Sanatorium Saturday, June 2. He was born in McGilli­ vray Township and farmed at R.R. 2, London, until he went to the sanatorium ...four years ago. His wife, Catherine, pre­ deceased him in 1944. He was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church and the Irish Benevolent Society. The only survivor is a brother, John A. Sholdice, of London. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery. Mrs. Lome Hicks Wilda Pollock, R.N, ener, Mr. and Mrs. and family of Ripley, and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hicks. Mrs. T.
