Writer Suggests Scholarship More Donations To Vosper Fund The Clara Vospei’ fund is growing quickly as ex-pupils write to express their affection of the former teacher’s work. Mrs. Irene Rivers Routledge endorsed the fund with a dollar and said “I’ll ‘be watching the paper with interest to see what is decided”. R. N. Othei’ donations of $1 were received by Mrs, Lois Birney Ferguson of Winnipeg, who said “the idea of a memorial sounds fine to me. There are quite Exeter people in were pupils of Miss Vospei’ when she taught the Entrance Class in the old school. A number of us, were out for a social evening not so long came up evening. A numbei’ of us thought plaque was an excellent idea then again we thought possibly a much more fitting tribute would be to create a scholarship to be called the Clara Vosper Scholarship. The possibility is it would not be large but if there was some way of contacting the living pupils quite a considerable sum could be raised. There are many ex-pupils ,who have done well as far as this world’s goods are concerned dpd I think they would be willing to contribute favourably to such a good cause. This is merely a suggestion on my part. Regardless of which suggestion is adopted believe me we will support it wholeheart edly. Thanking you for the space in your valuable paper. Yours truly, I. T.
