A pleasant evening was
at the home of Mrs. Hannah
Taylor Tuesday when about 25
neighbours and friends gathered
to honor her on the occasion of
her 88tli birthday. The evening
was spent in games after which
all sat down to a hearty lunch of
sandwiches, cookies, ice-cream
and home-made candy together
with two birthday cakes. One of
the birthday cakes was sent from
Grand Bend by Mrs. A. Dayman.
“For She’s a Jolly Good Fellow”
was sung and a half hour enjoy
ed over the teacups. Mrs. Taylor
in a few well chosen remarks

such a happy birthday.

Legion rooms Friday evening
last. The lady’s high prize was
