We are to leave bright and early, around 6:0'0 a.m., for our destination. The trip is to con­ sist of a tour through the On­ tario Museum, Ryerson’s Tech­ nological Institute and other in­ teresting points. Young and Mr. A. Morloclt. Mr, Patrick Flanagan, of De­ troit, called on friends in this community last week. Library Board Organized Families in the vicinity of Crediton will be leased to learn that on Wednesday evening, No- vembei' 2, a meeting was held in the Council Chambers for the purpose of organizing the Oredi- ton Public Library. A Board of Management was set up consist­ ing of nine members, Rev. H. Currie was appointed chairman and Mr. N. G. Keddy, secretary­ treasurer. Other members of the Board comprise Mrs. H. Schenk, Mrs. F. Morlock, Rev. J. V., Dahms, Mr. R. Schwartz, Mr. H. Eilber, Mr. T. Ridley and Mr. Lindsay. Mrs. N, 0. Keddy.. has volun­ teered to act as librarian, one hundred assorted books have been obtained from tile Huron County Library Association < and several donations have ceived from Centralia Library. The Crediton was opened on Tuesday November 8. Ladies Aid Anti W.M.S. Thank Offering Meeting The Thank Offering meeting of the Ladies Aid and W.S.W.S. and Mission Band of the Evan­ gelical U.B, Church was held on Thursday evening, November 3, in the Church School Room with a fine attendance. Mrs. Gordon Ratz opened the meeting with a song, then Mrs. Emmery Palmier conducted a shq^t memorial ser­ vice in memory of Mrs. Albert Gaiser. A fine program was given by members of society and numbers by Mission Band, also two fine numbers were given by the male quartette. A playlet was given By three members entitled "The JTale of the Three Boxes’ % after which the Thank Offering Boxes were brought to the platform and dedicated by Mrs. G. Ratz. The next-, meeting will be the Christmas meeting and gifts will be exchanged. The meeting was closed by repeating the Mizpah Benediction, after which a pot luck lunch was served.
