Library Board Visits
Huron County Library
The members of the Library
Board visited the Huron’ County
Library headquarters at Gode
rich on Tuesday to inspect the
display of new books. As more
people are becoming interested
in reading, the Dashwood branch
has secured a second unit of 100
books which are exchanged every ■
three months. Books were also
purchased for our permanent
library on needlecraft, cooking,
nursing, etiquette, traved and a
good selection for ^children. This
makes an approximate number of
30'0 books for the Dashwood
Library. The board hope this
will be an incentive for
people to become members of the
local library.
Bridge Club Meets
The first meeting of tire sea
son of the G.N.O. Bridge Club
was held at the home oE the
President, Mrs. Howard Klumpp.
It was decided that the present
officers should continue for an
other year. The members of the
club presented Miss Dorothy
Hay ter with a silver cake plate
in honour of her marriage.
