attended the wedding of their
nephew, Mr. Ivan Johnston, Lon
don, at St, Marys on Saturday,

children from Lucan, with her
sister, Mrs. Penberthy, who flew
from Victoria, B.C., to Toronto,
visited for several days with Mr.
and Mrs. Thomson, Exeter.
Mrs. R. G. Eckmeir, county
librarian, visited the Exeter Lib
rary on Tuesday morning for the
quarterly exchange of county
books.
Miss Gwenneth Jones left last
week for Toronto to take on a
p e r m a n e n t position with the
Central Y.W.C.A. there.
Mr. Everet Brown, of London,
spent the week-end with Mr. and
Mrs. James Hookey.
McKnight & Walper are re
novating the back of their store
to include a boys* department.
The tailoring shop will be moved
into a new addition at the back
and the present shop’s floor will
be lowered to house a separate
boys' department.
