I wish to thank my friends and relatives who came to help me celebrate my 80th birthday. Also, I thank you for the beautiful cards and gifts. Glenda played and our choir sang some Christmas music for the guests. My girls decorated the church hall so beautifully, and later the family served a tasty meal to family and some friends. We were surprised when Santa and Mrs. Santa arrived, so we had pictures taken. Again, many thanks to my family and friends who helped to make my birthday a great one. – Love, Betty. 50-1 -------------------------------------------- FISCHER. Our families would sincerely like to thank everyone who helped in any way after the passing of Roy. A special thanks to the Brussels Fire Department for their quick response, to the paramedics for their efforts, the kind police officer for his support and kind words, and the staff of the E.R. Department at Wingham Hospital. Thanks to Pastor Chuipka for his kind words and support. Schimanski Family Funeral Home and staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. Thanks to the pallbearers and flower bearers and to those who sent food to our home and helped at the church. A huge thank you goes out to all the guardian angels in Brussels and surrounding area for looking out for Roy. We cannot express our gratitude in these few words. – Donna Fischer, Randy, Shelley and families. 50-1 -------------------------------------------- KAI. In memory of George Andrew Broughton who passed away Dec. 18, 1988 and Cora Emma Jane (Hulley) Broughton who passed away Dec. 13, 2011. We can shed tears that they are gone, Or we can smile because they lived, We can close our eyes and pray they will come back, Or we can open our eyes and see all that they have left us. Our hearts can be empty because we can’t see them, Or we can be full of the love that they shared, We can turn our back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or we can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. We can remember them and only that they are gone, Or we can cherish their memories and let them live on. We can cry and close our minds, be empty and turn our backs, Or we can do what they would want: smile, open our eyes, love and go on. Remembering beautiful memories, dearer than gold, Of wonderful parents whose worth can never be told. You are beside us in all we do, Your love and guidance will see us through, As each day dawns we whisper low, God bless you Mom and Dad, We love and miss you so. – Forever in the hearts of daughter Brenda, son-in-law Bill Burkholder and family. 50-1 -------------------------------------------- COUSINS, Elma Lawrie. In loving memory of our mother who was taken from us December 22, 1977. As time goes on without you, And days turn into years, We hold a million memories, And a thousand silent tears. – Sadly missed by your family, Lawrie and Pieta, Betty, George and Emily, and John and Merle and families. 50-1 NOTICE TO CREDITORS ALL PERSONS having claims against the Estate of JOHN DAVID PENNINGTON, late of the Municipality of Huron East, County of Huron, Brussels, ON. who died on the 13th day of October, 2012, are required to file full proof of same with the undersigned on or before the 3rd day of January, 2013, after which date the Estate will be distributed having regard only to those claims of which notice has been received.
