It was so cold...
It’s 1899 in Drummond (a thinly veiled version of Blyth) and it’s the coldest winter on record
and Darwin, left, played by Marg Webster, and Beagle, played by Jolene Moore, couldn’t stop
talking about the cold over the weekend in A Country Carol, the Blyth Festival’s community
Christmas project. The play had a successful four-show run from Thursday to Saturday and
featured familiar names like Steve Cook, Emily Kerkhof and Marlayna Kolkman, among
others. (Vicky Bremner photo)
