BLOK. The family of the late John
Blok wishes to express our heartfelt
gratitude to our family, friends,
neighbours and the Blyth and
Seaforth communities for all your
love and support during Dad’s brief
battle with cancer. Thank you to
those who called, visited, sent cards,
provided food, gifts of
remembrance, flowers and memorial
donations. A huge thank you to all
who took the time to visit Dad at
Seaforth Hospital and those who
even made the trek to London for his
brief stay there. He took solace in the
fact that he still had his wits and
uncanny sense of humour which he
will always be remembered for. We
would also like to thank Dr.
Rooyakkers and all the staff and
especially the nurses at Seaforth
Community Hospital for their
wonderful care and huge hearts.
Thank you to McGlynn Family
Funeral Home, Blyth Arena, Blyth
Legion, Blyth Lions Ladies and
Frank Slater for all your help and
support for Dad’s visitation and
Memorial Service. We have a lost a
loving father, doting Opa, brother
and friend but Heaven’s gained a
witty angel. With many thanks –
Greg, Kim and Ashley, Pauline,
Steven, Ethan and Landyn, Hillie
and the entire Blok family. 40-1
