The depth of that love!
(Mary Winslow,“Life in Jesus”)
“Having loved His own who were in the world--He now showed them the full extent of
His love!” John 13:1
Christian! Did you but more know the depth of that love that is in the heart of Jesus
towards you--you would never be reluctant to go to Him for all you needed!
“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

Limb pile closed due to firesBlyth and area residents looking
to get rid of their tree limbs may be
finding themselves at the mercy of
the few as North Huron Council
voted to immediately close a limb
pile in North Huron.
Public Works Superintendent
Ralph Campbell explained that
twice this summer the limb pile has
been burnt out and that situation, paired with the one day a month ofbillable hours it takes to clean, hasmade him believe it’s not a
worthwhile endeavour.
“I say if people want to get rid of
limbs, they have to take them to the
landfill,” he said.
The limb refuse pile, which is
located beside the Blyth compost
depot, will be discontinued

Campvention in
Blyth for the week
The village of Blyth’s population
is going to receive a sizable boost
over the next week as Campvention
participants fill up the Blyth
Campground.
Campvention, an annual event
where a group of camper and
recreational vehicles (RV) owners
descend on a different town and
activities are held for all ages, is
bestowing a unique honour on Blyth
as the event will be held at the same
location for the first time since its
inception in 1961.
“They were impressed by just
how perfect they felt the facilities
were when they first visited in
2006,” North Huron Township
Community Development Co-
ordinator Connie Goodall said.
Campvention, which started with
an early bird day yesterday, runs
until Friday, July 20 with events
planned every day. Some of those

Church learns about charity
Greeting worshippers at Blyth
United Church on Sunday, July 8
was Mary Lou Stewart. Ushering
were Lavern Clark, Emily Phillips
and Lori Brooks. Floyd Herman was
music director and Fred Hakkers ran
the power point. David Onn
welcomed everyone to church in the
absence of Rev. Gary Clark. David
drew everyone’s attention to the
announcements printed in the
bulletin with special attention that
the Vacation Bible School would
like snacks for the week of July 16
to July 20.
The call to worship “Come All
You People” was sung followed by
the prayer of approach and the first
hymn “For the Beauty of the Earth”.
The scriptures were from Isaiah 11:6
and Luke 10: 25-37. The choir sang
the anthem, “Amazing Grace”.
The message to the adults was
“Theology of the Hammer”
presented by Agues Lempreire and
Glen Hayter. Glen was dressed as a
carpenter and Agues asked him
many questions about Habitat for
Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is
made up of volunteers. Tradespeople
volunteer their time to help teach
others to build. Habitat for
Humanity is not a handout but a
“handup”. Habitat Canada in 1985
built over 2,000 homes in Canada.
May of 2005 it included the eighth
home built in Clinton. The strategic
