by vice-principal Mario Gagne.
Grade 1 students of the present
day class sang a musical number led
by their teacher Ms Elizabeth
Thorpe-Hearn. Deanna Snell, a
former teacher, read the Old
Testament Lesson fromDeuteronomy 6: 4-12 representingthe Living Water Christian
Fellowship.
The band, consisting of Rev. Gary
Clark, Rick Howson, Gayle Poore,
Emma Raynaard and Joel and
Rachael Snell, played and sang a
musical number, Would You Bless
Our Homes and Families”. Marielle
Van Schaik representing the
Christian Reformed Church led the
responsive Psalm 78: 1-8. The NewTestament Lesson from John 13: 1-17 was read by Reid Button
representing the Blyth United
Church. Pastor Les Cook,
representing Blyth Community
Church of God, delivered the
sermon, “When the Foundation’s
Full”.
Pastor Cook reminisced of the
classes and experiences he had
while attending Blyth Public School
and how his experiences had made asolid foundation for him later in life.The next hymn was, “O Master Let
Me Walk With Thee”. Pastor Ernest
Dow from Living Water Christian
Fellowship led the pastoral prayers
and The Lord’s Prayer.
The offering collected will go to
help children attend church camp.
During the offering Cheryl Cronin
and Avon Corneil sang a duet. Rev.Gary Clark of Blyth United Churchled the offertory prayer of
dedication.
The closing hymn was “Cry of My
Heart”. The benediction was given
by Rev. Perry Chuipka of Trinity
Anglican Church. Everyone
was invited for coffee and
fellowship.

Saturday, June 30. SS1 school in
Morris Township is asking all
former students and teachers to
come to the Lions Park in Blyth
around 2 p.m. and enjoy reminiscing
and fellowship for the afternoon.

This is a reminder that there will
be euchre at the Legion on July 7 in
memory of Bernice McClinchey.
